“African in Paris” is Tiken Jah’s reinterpretation of Sting’s hit „Englishman in New York“, in which he expresses his condition as an immigrant from Europe.

In this new acoustic and international version, he invites the voice of the Brazilian Chico César, defender of African roots in his own country and the famous Jamaican Horace Andy to sing along and make his lyrics resonate, always so relevant nowadays.

The Guitar and Balafon duo, the majestic Kora, the choirs and African percussion offer to this unique trio an unstoppable new rhythm for this timeless song. New preview from the album “Acoustic” coming on February 16.
