The Magic Bus becomes “Μέρος της Γιορτής” (Part of the Celebration) and the ‘Town by the River Festival’ gets its own song, voice, words and notes! The greek rock band in collaboration with the Cultural – Artistic Association “ΑΝΑΠΝΟΗ” (Breath) captures the essence and goal of the beloved Livadia city’s Festival in a track that is here to stay. Bio:
“The Magic Bus” started its journey through the Greek-speaking rock scene in 2017, based in the town of Livadia, but with members also in Katerini and Atalanti. Since then, it covered many miles and played live in many cities, sharing the stage with some of the domestic scene’s most prominent bands and artists, taking part in festivals and various music venues. In 2021 the Bus steered towards its first album recording, titled “Το Κάστρο” (To Kastro / The Castle), full of rock essence, intriguing lyrics and dynamic compositions. In 2024 the EP “Σε Άγνωστα Νερά” (Se Agnosta Nera / Uncharted Territory) marked the band’s return on discography, with eclectic genre songs distilled through The Magic Bus’ rock prism. During the same year it composed the “Town by the River” Festival’s anthem.

Town by the River Festival:
The multi-thematic Town by the River Festival is a celebration that gives artists and creative people the opportunity to express themselves and attempts to acquaint the local community with modern forms of art. A meeting of arts and activities through which the creation of new personal and artistic bonds is attempted, resulting in the realization of timeless cultural partnerships.
A group of people from the Cultural & Artistic Association “ΑΝΑΠΝΟΗ” with a lot of experience in organizing large events undertook to organize in 2022 the first Town By The River Festival. This first event aimed to create the conditions and gain the momentum to gradually create an important annual festival with many and parallel events of various modern artistic currents, musicians and visual arts and activities for all ages. In this effort there is also the important help of the Municipality of Livadia city.
Cultural – Artistic Association “ΑΝΑΠΝΟΗ”:
The “ΑΝΑΠΝΟΗ” association was founded in 2019 in Livadia city (Greece), aiming to upgrade the culture and cultural life of the wider region. Exceeding all expectations, the association leaves its mark by having a clear cultural and social impact on the region. It has organized many events for charitable purposes, having managed to practically help: the school for children with special needs of Livadeia, providing food to the Social Grocery several times, offering musical instruments to the model Music School of Livadeia and much more. The biggest achievement of “ΑΝΑΠΝΟΗ” is the organization of the Town by the River Festival, a multi-thematic Festival, which follows the standards of major world festivals.
