O Monsieur Minimal, επιστρέφει με νέο, συναρπαστικό Αγγλόφωνο, άλμπουμ με τον τίτλο Seven (From East to West).Τέσσερα χρόνια μετά το Easteria album κι αφού μας προηδέασε με τα singles, Desert in Your Eyes, Anatolia και το “θεόσταλτο” “My soul is back” , το οποιο συνοδεύεται ίσως από το πιο ιδιαίτερο μουσικό βίντεο που έγινε ποτέ σε Ελληνική παραγωγή, ο Monsieur Minimal μας ξεδιπλώνει το “Seven {From East to West}” παρουσιάζoντας ενά ακόμα συναρπαστικό, ολοκληρωμένο άλμπουμ.
Το “Seven {From East to West}” είναι το έβδομο προσωπικό άλμπουμ του αγαπημένου μας καλλιτέχνη κι έχει αναφορές από τους αγαπημένους ήχους της ανατολής ως αυτούς της δύσης σε ένα ιδιαίτερο μουσικό παζλ, συμπληρόνωντας νέα στοιχεία στις συνθέσεις του από μουσικά ήδη όπως αυτά της Soul, της Funk, της Disco έτσι όπως μόνο ο Monsieur Minimal μπορεί να συνδιάσει και να παντρέψει μέσα από το μοναδικό του POP φίλτρο και την ιδιαίτερη αισθητική του.
Μοναδική στιγμή στο αλμπούμ, αποτελεί το “Give it to me” με την εκπληκτική ερμηνεία της Αναστασίας Βελισσαρίου σε μια ατμόσφαιρα που θα ζήλευε ακόμα κι ο ίδιος ο Prince ενώ το massive hit του άλμπουμ ακούει στον τίτλο “Last Dance” ένα Neo-soul disco τραγούδι που σου κολλάει σαν την πιο γλυκιά τσίχλόφουσκα στο μυαλό.
Το άλμπουμ συπληρώνουν δυο νέες ωριμες, Neo-vintage εκτελέσεις, σε δυο παλιότερα αγαπημένα τραγούδια του Monsieur Minimal από το debut άλμπουμ του “Lollipop”. Τo κλασικό “Love story” μεταμορφώνεται σε “Love and hate story” και το επικό “Love is a circle” σε “Life is a circle” του οποίου την ερμηνεία παραχωρεί στην Aναστασία Βελισσαρίου.
Four years after the “Easteria” album and after teasing us with the singles “Desert in Your Eyes”, “Anatolia”, and the Devine “My Soul is Back”, Monsieur Minimal returns with a new, exciting album titled “Seven (From East to West).”
Seven” is the seventh personal album of Monsieur Minimal weaving together influences from the rich sounds of both the East and West, creating a unique musical mosaic that introduce fresh elements into its compositions blending musical genres such as Soul, Funk, Disco and indie in a way only Monsieur Minimal can achieve, through his unique aesthetic POP filter.
A standout moment is “Give It to Me,” featuring the stunning performance of Anastasia Velissariou and an atmosphere that Prince himself would envy, while the album’s massive hit, “Last Dance,” is a neodisco anthem that sticks like gum to the mind.
The album also features two new renditions of two old favourite Monsieur Minimal songs from his debut album “Lollipop”. “Love Story” transforms into “Love and Hate Story,” and “Love is a Circle” becomes “Life is a Circle,” uniquely performed by Anastasia Vlissariou, under Monsieur Minimal’s neo-vintage sophisticated orchestrations.
